The Five Day Music fest in Delhi comes to an end. The fest saw the renowned classical musicians performing at common platform.

The Kamani auditorium hosted the five-day long music festival in Delhi. The sixth season of “The Delhi Classical Music Festival” was held from October 18-22. This was attended by many lovers of Indian classical Music. The festival saw the performances by renowned Indian musicians. It was organized by the Sahitya kala Parishad, the cultural wing of the Government of NCT of Delhi for music, dance and drama.

The first day of the event was witnessed by the presence of Dr Mahesh Sharma, the Minister of Art and culture, Government of Delhi, and New Delhi’s former Chief Minister, Sheila Dixit, who started the festival.

The auditorium witnessed the packed audience on all 5 days. The event began with the performance of the sitar maestro Ustad Nishat khan. Melodies of Indian classical music usually tell stories and anecdotes recited through the music elements and compositions.
Pandit Jasraj , took the stage in the second half of the event on the first day. In the later days an equal amount of audience was witnessed.
